Activity Reflections -
Workshop Trainings - These were trainings to roll out a new PD interface. All staff needed to be trained in order to sign up for summer PD. Over all the roll-out went well. Most staff attended training and appreciated the new interface and how user friendly it seemed.

Clicker Training - This was a requested training by the campus but only two people showed up. We worked on their specific concerns and roadblocks that they have has with the using the system. It was good to get their issues worked out I think they will be more confident in using the system in the future.

Peter Rabbit Video Conference - The conference was a good experience. It was hosted by the Bush Library in College Station. It was fun to see the first graders respond as if they were actually in the room with the story teller. They didn't seemed phased by the fact that we were conferencing over 100's of miles apart from each other. It was very cute.

Garage Band - I worked with a fourth grade class over several afternoons on their Texas History projects. They were doing a multimedia report that included images about their event or landmark and a narrated report that they wrote as well as many embellished sound affects and a sound track.

Summer laptop checkout - Discussed policy for summer laptop check out with the librarian. This was good to make sure we were both on the same page as we prepared for the end of school and teacher inquiry into summer laptop check out.

Adaptive Technology - I worked with the speech teacher who was looking for a solution to help her students be able to see and or hear themselves and how they sound. She was super excited to see the potential of Garage Band and her students were thriving using the technology to record their voices. They wanted to show their parents what they were doing and were so excited to come to speech.
